1875-1912 – In the service of Harland & Wolff for twenty-four years, after completion of his apprenticeship in March 1894 he spent two years at sea to gain practical experience. Following Frost's return to the shipyard he was promoted to leading hand in March 1901. His career ended as prematurely as his life, lost to the depths of the sea along with history’s most famous ship.

The modern design of these handles are apart Nutfield Hardwares Irish Forge Historic Range. These handles are a take on irish history, and therefore each handle has been named after a famous trademans that has had an impact in Northern Ireland throughout history.

With the lever action on these handles and the integrated spring mechanism they will return to the original horizontal position after use. These handles are constructed to be used with interior wooden doors, they are practical and cost efficent at giving your home that extra umf. These handles are paired with a standard tubular latch or a standard bathroom or sashlock, although these are not supplied with this set they are available from our store.

Installation; unscrew the cover anticlockwise to reveal the mounting holes, there should be 5 on each handle. Mark your holes on your door and then pre drill all of your holes, if this is done on one side and the spindle is pushed through then it will give you the markings for the holes needing drilled on the otherside of the door allowing you to get a semetrical finish on both sides. All fixtures and fittings are supplied with the door handle set.
