This is an antique souvenir token from an Asian temple.
It is made from a purpleish clay or similar pottery and depicts Buddha or another Deity on the front although it is very faint.
No wording.

Please see close-up photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself.
Normal signs of age and use wear including some wear on the higher relief areas etc.
There is some discolouration / staining on the surface.
There are some chips and minor impact marks all over.

It measures approx. 38mm x 24mm x 14mm at its widest points.

1 of a number of these unusual clay or terracotta like moulded pottery items I have at the moment. Some have really great detail and others are fairly plain. Some have wording or characters on the backs as well. All look to have been made in moulds. I am sorry I don't know what country they originate or what period they are from either. If anyone knows any more about them I am all ears and will revise the listings, thanks in advance.

Most of my items are sent using the Global Shipping Program due to Royal Mail being really quite useless at actually delivering parcels worldwide which gave me and my customers a truly diabolical service in the last year.

Global Shipping Program does not allow coins to be sent which is a little bizarre, is that because they do NOT trust their own delivery people to keep charge of the packages whilst on route ? So coins will be sent using Royal Mail.

To see ALL my other 6000+ items for sale: please click on the VISIT SHOP or click "see other items", strangely both only have a limited view of what I have to offer on each platform so to see everything click on Shop by Category which will give you a much better view.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.

If you see A/F = a/f in the title or description it means "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F  for " as found " for 45 years.
