Augustus Heisly would immigrate to America from Germany in 1843, after a brief period of working with another well known and established Glassware company Heisly would set out on his own and

Heisly Glass Company was Founded in Ohio around 1895 And would close its doors for good In 1957.


The Glassware Heisly made was of a Very High Quality, And through a process that was Ahead of its time managed to produce some of the most Beautiful pieces America had seen at the time.


This beautiful Lidded Jar by Augustus Heisly is one of the Largest they produced, and one of the more heavily Decorated and adorned pieces made.
