RARE Vintage 1980s Cathay Pacific Amenities Wash Bag .Airline Collectable,Maroon Wave Design logo ,possibly designed by Hermes who designed the Cathay Pacific uniform in the 1980s .This washbag is unused and comes in vintage old stock new condition.

This Business Class Wash bag belonged to a friend of ours Jim Barrett who was a pilot with Cathay Pacific in the 1970s / 1980s .Jim was a flying officer in the RAF in the 1960s -1970s he then left the RAF to work for Cathay Pacific first as an inflight Engineer then as a captain on Tristars and 747 Classic Jumbos . No doubt he was given this wash bag when he was travelling as positioning crew .The Wash bag is made of a leak proof Maroon coloured canvas -the bag is in very good vintage condition the fabric is good with just a tiny bit of puckering in the nylon canvas near the bottom of the bag -the zip still works well and is intact .The bag still has all of its contents -7 items including a pair of Maroon Terry Towelling flight socks in original cellophane bag (unused ) - a plastic comb with Cathay Pacific logo ( unused in plastic bag ) -A fold away tooth brush with toothpaste ( unused) but out of date to use now - An unused sewing kit -A Do Not Disturb sticker -an eye mask -and a plastic shoe horn This is a great piece of Cathay Pacific History and memorabilia perfect for your collection.
