Offered for bidding is a beautiful CREAM PITCHER.  It has a sleek freeform shape, and was made in Oklahoma by Frankoma Pottery.  This piece is Frankoma's 4A creamer shape, in the LAZYBONES pattern.  It is made from reddish terra cotta ceramic, with a two-tone glaze that Frankoma called DESERT GOLD.  The color and texture of the glaze vary from a glossy milk-chocolate brown to a pale matte-textured yellow, depending on glaze thickness and firing temperature.  Because of the variable nature of this glaze, no two pieces are alike.  The bottom is unglazed, and is marked 4A FRANKOMA (picture 4).

The creamer measures 5 3/4 inches (14.6cm) in length, and stands 4 inches (10.2cm) tall to the top of the spout.  A U.S. quarter is shown in first two pictures, to give an accurate impression of the size at a glance.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. The glaze has no visible wear or crazing.
