This $ 10 coin is certified to be 99.99% pure silver with a diameter of 27 millimetres and a metal weight of 7.96 grams. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. The iconic image of Superman breaking chains has been shown countless times throughout Superman’s history. As an Official Licensee of DC Comics, the Royal Canadian Mint faithfully recreated this iconic image drawn by Canadian Joe Shuster in honour of Superman’s 75th anniversary.
