I have spent countless hours hunting on the internet for a product to protect my precious Tony Stewart hat collection. I did find one item that cost almost more than some of my hats and which I, therefore, couldn't afford. Then I found this simple product.

This is the most amazing thing for anyone who collects baseball type caps or hats. It is a clear plastic protector that will fit any hat (due to the elasticized edging) and is completely see-through. This item is lightweight, simple to put on any hat, washable, reusable and can even be put over a cap to wear to the rainy day game so you can enjoy having your team's hat on, but not ruin the fragile cardboard brim by getting it soaked!

If you're like me and like to hang your hats on the wall, just slip one of these over the cap and hang it as usual. You can make it more fitted by simply rearranging the plastic inside the cap so that it fits more snugly on the outside or you can just cover the cap, stick it on a pin, nail or hook and know that your favorite, expensive caps will remain dust and dirt free. When the cap cover gets dirty, simply remove it and either wash it or throw it away and put a new one on (see our cap protectors being sold in packs of 10 and 30). This would also make a great gift for your cap loving/collecting friend for whom you never know what to buy! Look at the pictures and you will see part of my personal hat collection is safely covered in an extremely dusty part of the country!
