Super nice vintage woven Ganscraft Chimayo vest in a size 38. I’ve had this piece since 2017 and bought it from the original owner.

It’s incredibly tight still, no major damage(but does have one threadbare area under the left armpit, and 2 small holes on the inside pockets). The ribbon(satin?) on the inside trim is a little worn from daily wear. It is in a very very cool color-way you don’t get to see often. Grey with a blue hue from the wool, with red, black, blue and white pattern.

It has the original Hal Pearce Saddlery tag in the inside, with original stitching, original buttons, velvet backsides with clips etc etc. I have the button that fell off with velvet back and clip, as well as the original Ganscraft Chimayo tag that was underneath the Hal Pearce tag(see photos). It fell out after being worn for a good couple years and I thought it would be worth keeping.

The old Ganscraft Chimayo vests are made with a wool quality that’s just far different and better in my opinion than the thicker and softer wools seen in the Ortega’s pieces or other companies. It’s a nice piece and I’d love for it to go to a good home where it’ll be worn.

Model in last pic is 5 feet 9 inches, 160lbs.
