English antique sterling silver three piece tea service complete with the original wooden fitted case complete with key.

The set is hallmarked from London in 1860 with the makers mark being that of Edward & John Barnard.

Nicely embossed pattern with the teapot having a crown/coronet as the finial.

The actual wooden case is missing the lining for the recess for the teapot otherwise all complete with just the usual age associated scuffs as you would expect for age.

There is the odd small dink here and there mainly on cartouche's but not drastic or in anyway considered unsightly.

The teapot has slight play on handle as is common but it can be filled and used without any issues, two small what appears to be solder repairs evident on the inside but nothing at all can be seen from the outside, teapot has a capacity of 3 pints filled to the brim, so 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 pint comfortably as at 3 pint it would be just to full.

Teapot measures 270mm in length and stands 158mm tall at handle top.

Sugar bowl measures 215mm across the handles and stands 116mm tall at handle tops.

Cream jug stands 173mm tall at handle top.

A very nice Victorian English set with original case.
