4 Antique Silver CRESTED Salt Cauldrons, London 1784/85, Intaglio Duty on Two
Set of 4 antique sterling silver salt cauldrons, each carrying a family crest which we have not researched.
All have the makers mark of Stephen Adams II, 2 carry the date letter i of 1784 and 2 with date letter k for 1785, these two carry the intaglio duty mark.
There is some minor dinks on them but nothing drastic, glass liners sit up slightly so appear to be later replacements, one minor nibble on top edge of one.
They each stand 40mm tall and have a top rim diameter of 55mm.
A good clean antique set of 4.
