Superb antique hand carved wooden articulated child’s doll/ model of a wolf

Probably German, 19th Century

Very rare item 

Overall in good condition with great patina. Some minor damage to the ears and general signs of use. One leg had previously been broken and glued back together. 

There appears to be some sort of makers mark but illegible
