This listing is for an external 300Gb SCSI Hard drive for your AKAI S5000 or S6000. It is in perfect working order and the outer case is in good condition with no major defects. It has minor scratches that you would expect from a 25 year old case.

It has been lightly used in a smoke free home studio. This drive is instantly recognized be the S5000 or S6000. After format it is ready for use.  The internal hard drive is 300gb The S5000 or S6000 will utilize all of the space giving you unlimited sample storage.

It will come with a 68 to HD50 pin SCSI cable. This is the cable you will need to hook it up to your S5000 or S6000 so you can start using it out of the box.

It will work with the DR16 and DPS24, but the SCSI host in those machines will not utilize all 300gb and will need different SCSI cabling.

It will also come with the power cable, terminator and guide for hook up.
