This is a Rare piece of Automobilia . It is a Vintage Original LONDON TAXI or HACKNEY CARRIAGE / CAB Aluminium SIGN or License Plate. The entire piece measures 15.5 inches x 3.5 inches .   This reads " Licensed to carry 4 Passengers " The background is made black and the lettering is white , for maximum effect . These date to the mid 20th century and can be used as a decorative feature . I am offering another sign in a seperate listing that reads " Licensed to carry 7 Passengers "
