For the formulation of Moisturizing Cream UV Protection SPF 15, Etienne Raff Paris combined highly useful natural based ingredients to improve those two most important abilities; to hydrate and to protect the skin.
With daily use, Moisturizing Cream UV Protection SPF 15, will deeply moisturize and protect the skin against UV damage caused by the sun. It delivers immediate hydrating effect with a soft gratifying feel. The result is intensely smooth, soft, supple, nourished and protected skin.

Active ingredients: Hydrolized Corn Starch, beta Vulgaris Root Extract, Lactic Acid, P-Anisic Acid, Octinoxate, Octocrylene, Avobenzone.

Hydrolyzed Corn Starch: Ingredient made from the corn plant, which has been reported to have the following functions: absorbents, skin conditioning agents, skin protectant.

Lactic Acid: Lactic acid is a naturally occurring acid and part of the group of Alpha hydroxyl Acids along with glycolic acid. As an exfoliant, lactic acid helps slough off dead skin cells to reveal healthier, glowing skin. Lactic acid can adjust the pH balance in beauty and personal care products as well. Lactic Acid is also a well-known humectant, which makes it effective at increasing the skin’s moisture content and, thus, keeping the skin well hydrated. Finally, lactic acid serves as a skin conditioning agent that lubricates the skin’s surface and leaves it feeling soft and smooth.

P-Anisic Acid: Is made from Basil and found naturally in Anise. P-Anisic Acid has antiseptic properties and it used as a preservative in cosmetic products. Anti-microbially tests have found it to have a broad spectrum activity with particular efficacy against mold.

Octocrylene: Is an organic compound, primarily used in sunscreens because of its ability to absorb UVB and short-wave UVA rays and protect the skin from direct DNA damage.

Avobenzone: An oil soluble sunscreen agent marketed as a “broad spectrum” sunscreen because it protects the skin against the sun’s entire range of UVA rays. It blocks the full spectrum of UVA rays and can be combined with other sunscreen ingredients that block UVB rays for full protection.
