The sizes listed are tablecloth sizes, not table sizes. To determine the tablecloth size, add the desired drop on the table twice to the width and twice to the length. For a dining table, we recommend a 6" to 8" drop. For example, on a 38" x 70" table, a 54" x 86" tablecloth size will give the table a beautiful, even 8" drop all the way around. Another example - For a 36" round table, a 52" round table cloth will give an 8" drop. If you wish to completely cover the 36" round table to the ground and the height of the table is 30", a 96" round tablecloth is the correct size. Since made to order, we can make your perfect tablecloth size in any oval tablecloth size. Simply select the next larger size listed and in the notes to seller section, let us know what size to finish your tablecloth.
