Excellent Reproduction J.A. Dubow Contract 27798 A-2 Flight jacket, made in genuine Horsehide. This contract from 1942 features the unique Dubow contract label, distinct pointed collar, dull purple knits, large x-box epaulets, and forgiving Dubow fit.

Color is a nice dark Russet, or Mid Brown Semi-Veg-Tanned Horsehide. Leather is soft and supple, with good mix of graining and smooth textures.

Liner is 100% cotton, in correct dull orange. Zipper is a repro Talon, just like originals. Thread is Olive, exactly like that used on many originals. Knits are a dull purple wool blend, giving the jacket the right contrast in color.

Jacket has only been worn a couple times and is in like-new condition. Fit is patterned off an original, A-2 athletic cut, with a wider upper sleeve area, and more room in the torso area compared to other contracts. Jacket was made by the Fivestar Leather Co.
