Description:
I came across a number of vintage kimonos and fabric from Japan; this is the first listing.
This is a lined kimono done in a gold-colored silk with a desig on the bottom, possibly hand painted.
The lining is a light color, while the lining of the sleeves is bring read.
Hand stitched.
The length or mi-take is 60”.
The length of the seam from the shoulder to the end (sode-haba) is 12.5”.
The length of the length of the sleeve (sode-take) is 24.5”.
The length from the center of the back to the end of the sleeve (yuki) is 25”.
The length from the side seam to the back seam (ushiro-haba) is 12”.
The arm opening is 8”.
Hand stitched.
Please note there are no other components to this kimono, i.e. belt or obi.
Condition:
The piece has not been laundered (washed or dry cleaned) but has been tumbled in the dryer and steamed.
There are marks on the kimono, some minor along the bottom, one reddish mark on the shoulder as well as ome small marks.
Some loose stitching, but minor.
