The 59th Anniversary Coin salutes the country's internationally acclaimed Performing Arts – Music, Dance and Theater. The Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, the Israeli Opera and the Batsheva Dance Company have received worldwide recognition for their impressive achievements. Popular Hebrew music is also worthy of mention, as Israel is often a top contender in the international Eurovision Song Festival and has won a few times. The theatrical productions of the "Habima" and "Gesher" Theaters, along with numerous others, serve as a source of national pride.
