Antique Silver Butter Dish, London 1794, Robert Hennell
English antique sterling silver butter dish of clam shell form supported by 2 shell design feet, hallmarked from London in 1794. the makers mark is very faint, the H can be made out, the first letter is merely a shadow and difficult to determine, however Robert Hennell was known to make this style of dish and we believe this is an example of his work.
2 or 3 small dinks nothing at all drastic though.
It measures 149x120mm.
