Up for bids is an incredible and exquisite early 1914 Lincoln's 2nd Inaugural address "With Malice Toward None, With Charity For All" hand embroidered sampler tapestry in the original frame and dates to 1914 due to the train advertisement it was originally mounted on (since removed) and measures rougly 50cm x 41cm (inner frame), with beautiful shiny silk like thread embriodery showing the two 48-star flags and the peace dove holding an olive branch as one of the finest and most iconic USA patriotic pieces we've seen in the last 25 years, sold as received from a private local estate collection. Fabulous and one of the finest USA tapestries available on the market with the original frame, has minor toning due to foxing on the advertisment it was mounted on (since removed), there are no noticable flaws, holes, or stitch errors and looks to have been done with great care, including being signed and numbered on the inner edge (unseen due to frame) (review all photo's below).
