Ken Domon's ``Pilgrimage to Old Temples'' began when he first visited Muro-ji Temple in 1932 and became enlightened by the Buddhist statues, and ended in March 1976 with the long-awaited photo shoot of Muro-ji Temple in the snow. The temple may be said to be the old temple that Ken Domon loved the most.
