Very Rare Heavy, Large 8" Long Colonial Pewter Spoon, c.1770

DESCRIPTION: Scans show it all.....large 7 1/2" antique early American pewter spoon.  Can be used as a functional item or as a nice antique decorative item. It is an extremely early spoon, dating c1770. Nice, VERY DEEP, CURVED  BOWL as shown, almost 3" long x almost 1 1/2" wide. 

This was obviously hand made. MOLD SEAMS VISIBLE ALONG THE EDGES.

A nice addition to any early American antique collection or for decoration on a wall or especially, to go with a period colonial pewter plate. Very scarce pewter accessory item. 

WILL LOOK GREAT AS DECORATION WITH A PEWTER PLATE!!

In excellent condition overall with nice aged patina. Shows age and use and aged patina very well. From a large local New England pewter collection.
