Kansas City Royals cotton & flannel quilt bag with silver hardware.

This is one of my very early bags. I’ve taken $ off because I am not pleased with the look of the inner bag. I no longer use plain white flannel for the insides.

Not just a clutch, but perfect for clipping onto a purse, backpack, diaper bag, soft sided cooler, use it as a walk the dog bag, or whatever else your mind takes you to. New bags/patterns added throughout the week.

Bag size

Length at top 9.5”

Length at bottom 9”

Height 6”

Depth at gussets (bottom) 2.5“

Silver hardware & zippers

White topstitching

These bags really do hold a lot of stuff. Very fun and functional. To keep prices down a little for customers, the 8” chain and 1” round carabiner ring are OPTIONAL. The ring is great for clipping to other items as stated above. All bags are photographed with the optional chain. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN PAYING (or in a message) IF YOU WOULD LIKE EITHER or BOTH. Attached to the D ring is an O-ring and lobster claw hook. If you prefer, they can be taken off with pliers. You can also let me know and I can take them off for you.

Every bag is made as if I am making it for myself. They take a minimum of three hours to make. They are washed and dried to help fluff up, and also to take away the chemicals from the fabric making process. You can wash, dry and iron on whatever temperature you like.

Each square is thoughtfully cut and placed. The squares are all backed with flannel. The inside of the front pocket and the inner bag is made with a coordinating flannel. Inside there is a long pocket with a magnetic clasp. The d-ring loop, intersections & bottom corners (gussets) are all triple/quadruple stitched for extra durability. Fabrics are serged/overlocked under the zippers so that they do not fray. “No fray” product added to zipper ends and fabric where magnetic clasp pieces are attached. Zippers are visible from the inside of the bag. I also make the exposed zipper ends curl to give it a little extra fun.

Bags come with a tag (see last photo) for gift giving. Great for any holiday, birthday or anniversary. Also wonderful as a “just because” gift…I promise great quality, but if you are looking for perfection in the decorative/top stitching, these bags may not be for you. I’m just not as steady handed as I used to be.

Side note – photos of the front and back of bag are with the bag stuffed so you can see all of the details. When it comes to you it will not be stuffed.

A little note about myself for anyone who wants to know. I have been sewing for @ 35 years. It all started in Home-Ec in middle school with a pair of jams (long shorts in the 80s) for those who remember :) I’ve been sewing on and off ever since. It’s like therapy to me. I enjoy sewing for myself and others. When I started making these bags, it was just a few for myself and friends/family. They made me so happy that I started making them for others to enjoy. I hope you are as pleased with them as much as I am. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me.
