This is a lovely vintage BLACK DRESS with elaborate beaded and lace cutouts or inserts. This sleeveless COCKTAIL DRESS probably dates from the 1920-30's. I don't think the top portion can be repaired as there is a substantial tear on the top right shoulder and another tear on the left shoulder. The bodice has a blousy look to it with a loose, slight drop waist highlighted by a black ribbon. The bottom portion which remains in good condition is pleated in part and the hem is slightly scalloped. There are no tags of any kind, but I approximate the size to be a 6. The reason this dress should be remade or taken apart and made into an entirely new garment, is the lovely lace and beaded cutouts which are shear. I have taken lots of photos for your review.
