This is a nicely degraded Antique Primitive Seated Wood Buddha Figure from Thailand.  This piece was purchased in Bangkok in the early 1970's by my father who was an antique dealer in Penang, Malaysia at the time.  Based on my experience & knowledge of these type of figures, I estimate this item dates to before the Turn of the Century.  Please note the Buddha's elongated intact head spike.  Please note the Condition Description above:  Both sides of the Buddha's Base & both arms from the shoulder to the elbow are clearly degraded

Please review the pictures closely in regards to the condition of this Buddha figure.  Overall the Buddha figure is degraded.

Buddha Dimensions: 1 3/4 inches wide at the base & 5 inches high with a depth of 7/8 of an inch.  Weight: 1.3 ounces (38 grams)
