Vintage Industrial 18"/45cm L.S Starrett Machinist Spirit Level Gauge with Graduated Vial
Made in Athol. Mass. USA by the L.S Starrett Co.
Great industrial look to the large gauge which has 4 separate bubble levels - all working perfectly. The outer cover of the central gauge also rotates to protect the glass bubble. Solid cast iron base with perfectly smooth bottom with a central groove up the middle. Weight of gauge is 2.3kg. Main central vial held in place with a screw on one and and an adjustment nut on the other (this is how they come).
Overall length of level is 18" / 45cm
Age and wear marks on metalwork of level as per photos - please look at all carefully as they form part of the condition description. Prior owners code etched onto base of level. Original Starrett wooden case in poor condition with lid missing and bottom section of 1 end blown out - see photos.
