1917 S TYPE 1 STANDING LIBERTY QUARTER NGC CHOICE XF 40 LOW POPULATIONS AT THE TPG's show the San Francisco Type 1 issue to be the least available. Wonderfully wholesome and original, with a good bit of luster.  A low mintage of 1,952,000 contributes to the scarcity.
