Here is a very interesting antique lens. It is a Taylor Taylor Hobson Rapid Rectilinear f8 focus 7.2 Inch lens for use on 6 1/2" x 4 3/4" camera so would be perfect for use on a 4x5 camera. The diaphragm works fine. One interesting thing about the lens is it has a very light aluminum body. I have seen this lens before in the common brass but I've never seen an aluminum body version. The lens with the flange only weighs 2.9 ounces. The glass is clean and clear showing minor wear with some internal dust specs. A great lens all ready for mounting and use.
