This vintage John Deere rain gauge is quite rare, from what I could determine. Please note it has been in storage for decades. It was put away among my late farmer dad's things, unused.  It shows no rust, no dirt etc. There is one tiny scratch mark on the back side. Please see photos. Otherwise in really very very nice condition.

Features the phrase, "Nothing runs like a Deere".

The gauge, which holds up to 4 inches of rain, is estimated to have been created in the mid-1960s.
