Specification:

1. The use voltage should not exceed DC15V, it is best to use the voltage DC12V.

2. The power supply should have a current of more than 3A. If the power supply is too small, it will affect the use of the water pump.

3. Please add a filter screen at the water inlet to prevent sundries from entering the water pump. Stuck the impeller will also damage the water pump.

4. This water pump should be a high temperature resistant water pump, which can pump hot water, but if it is used as a submersible pump, the external water temperature should not exceed 50 degrees, and it cannot be directly immersed in boiling water as a submersible pump.

5. The impeller pump cannot suck itself. Attention should be paid to draw water to drain air before pumping water. Whether the air is completely drained will also affect the power.

TOPSFLO the lead wire of the brushless water pump is Teflon high temperature resistant wire, which is of good quality. Its lead wire is 4P, and its drive plate has reverse connection protection. Therefore, the positive and negative poles are connected to the water pump but do not work and will not burn the drive plate. The drive plate also has an output signal FG line (yellow line) and a speed regulating line blue line (5V PWM signal). The wiring method is as follows:

Red line: connect to the positive pole of the power supply (12V)

Black line: connect the power supply negative pole and PWM signal negative pole (GND)

Yellow line: FG line of output signal (just leave it in the air)

Blue line: 5V PWM signal. (or 5V voltage)

   If it is only necessary to operate simply, the red line is connected to 12V, the blue line is connected to the red line through a 10K resistor, the black line is connected to the negative pole, and the water pump runs at the highest speed, so that only 1 set of power supply can be used normally, which is very convenient.


   If PWM signal speed regulation is required, a 5V PWM signal is input on the blue line. Please note that the voltage of PWM signal is about 5V, because if the voltage exceeds 5V too much, the water pump will run at the highest speed and cannot speed regulation. If the voltage is too much lower than 5V, the highest power of the water pump cannot be exerted. For example, if we use 2V PWM signal, the current of the water pump at the highest speed is only about 0.98A, which is only about 12W. The negative pole of the PWM signal should also be connected to the negative pole of the power supply.
