This is a beautifully preserved 1852 Great Britain Queen Victoria penny red imperforate stamp, with the rare ‘KF’ plate mark, on an entire cover sent from Preston to Hull on March 4th, 1852. The stamp is part of the Line-Engraved Issues and features the portrait of Queen Victoria in a red hue. It is cancelled with a numeral cancellation and is in VF/XF (Very Fine/Extremely Fine) condition.


The stamp and cover are a wonderful piece of British history, showcasing the postal system and communication methods of the mid-nineteenth century. The item has been carefully stored and is in excellent state, ready to be added to a collection or displayed as a unique historical artifact.
