This is a rare and fascinating original 19th century silhouette cut out of 2 woman that embodies the spirit of American folk art era! This intricately inked piece of history has light spots around the ink of the characters which according to sources is a sign of the spirit talking. Sometimes when you turn a piece over you get more than you bargained for and this is one of those pieces. Make sure you look closely at the pictures of the back. It has an extra drawing on the backside and light spots that almost look like faces. Look at the ladder back chairs and the feather topped hat! This piece has some very unique characteristics that are desirable in the collector communities. It even has the signature of Ms Pfeiffer.
