What is Cordyceps Sinensis?

Cordyceps Sinensis is a parasitic fungus that grows on the larvae of certain moth species found in the Himalayan region. It has been used for centuries in traditional medicine systems such as Ayurveda and Tibetan medicine.

The fungus grows at high altitudes, typically between 3,000 and 5,000 meters above sea level, and is often found in alpine meadows and pastures.
