This is a Antique Primitive Seated Wood Buddha Figure from Thailand.  This piece was purchased in Bangkok in the early 1970's by my father who was an antique dealer in Penang, Malaysia at the time.  Based on my experience & knowledge of these type of figures, I estimate this item dates to before the Turn of the Century.  

Please review the Condition Description above:  Overall Buddha figure is in Good Condition - no major physical damage.  The figure has a Brown Felt bottom.

Buddha Dimensions: 2 3/8 inches wide at the base & 4 inches in height with a depth of 1 1/4 inches.  Weight: 2.3 ounces (109 grams).  Item Height with based added: 4 1/2 inches
