The Osaka Pro Thur unlimited & all its components are designed specifically to allow Arthur to reach the pinnacle of field hockey performance. The Mid Bow is Arthur Van Doren's signature Stick & has the exact dimension & weight Arthur has enjoyed playing with during his already successful career.The Osaka mid bow offers very consistent & stable performance in high-demanding situations. It's max-bow point lies at 300mm from the head & has a max height of 24mm, the profile is slightly thicker, allowing you to put more force behind slap shots & strikes. The Pro Thur features metallic 18k Textreme biaxial spread tow carbon fabric is a relatively new type of carbon fiber fabric. It is very similar to a conventional woven cloth but is manufactured using a special 'spreadig' technology to make the individual tows of carbon fiber very flat & wide. The result is a fabric that is smoother & flatter than a conventional woven cloth with less of the 'crimp' that occurs each time warp & weft tows intersect each other. This reduced crimp means that spread tow fabrics can provide marginal stiffness advantages. The metallic finish also offers extra stiffness & allows us to spray the sticks with the absolute minimal amount of paint, which positively impacts the balance & weight.
