Peavey 5150 Block Letter Tube Amp Head w/ USA made Sylvania Peavey Super 6 6L6GC Power Tubes (EVH Signature Amp Head Original 1992)

First edition Block Letter version that was only produced for less then a year in 1992 with only 1500-2000 made according to Peavey. Electro voice reached out to Peavey and asked if they would change the logo since it was too similar to EV. It will always go up in value so if you decide to sell later in life it will be a nice bonus! The transformers in block letters were slightly different too! Which has a great effect on why the block letters feel/sound better and have more special mojo too em aside from having the unicorn USA made Sylvania Peavey Super 6 tubes. Most importantly this amp head has the original unicorn highly sought after USA made Sylvania Peavey Super 6 6L6GC power tubes with the white colour print The reason these tubes last so long is their quality but also because these amps are not super hot biased and generally cold for head room because the preamp section is where the gain/overdrive comes from.

This amp is in excellent condition for its age with minor reg typical wear. 3/4 CORNERS on top vent are intact! This is rare for a 31 year old amp and a miracle! OG 5150s often have most or all these corners broken off but not this one! No missing knobs or hardware!
