These bushings effectively reduce the size of the tuner mounting holes in a guitar's headstock. This enables the installation of vintage-styled (press-in bushing) stamped-steel tuning machines on a headstock that was originally equipped with modern-style (screw-in bushing) sealed keys. Allows for tuner conversion without the need to plug and re-drill the peg-holes.

Designed for contemporary Fender® necks that are bored out to slightly larger specs, these bushings have the largest outside diameter of any of the adapter bushings that we carry. They fit tuners with a 1/4" post.
