This shallow mount battery box holds a 9 volt battery flat on its side and is perfect for mounting a battery in a thin guitar body. The chamber that holds the battery is accessed by the tab that, when open, allows you to place the battery securely within the box. Foam is attached to the inside lid to hold the battery firmly in place.
