VW Mk1 Golf Brake Compensator Valve (Weight bias Valve). Also fitted to Audi 80/100 etc.

This Valve fits onto the underside of the vehicle and attaches to the Rear Axle with a spring, as more weight (luggage) is added to the vehicle the Compensator Valve reduces the braking force applied to the rear brakes, preventing rear wheel lock-up.

This Valve has been fully stripped down, meticulously rebuilt with new seals and stainless steel internal/external hardware for a longer service life.

The unit is then pressure tested to ensure no leaks.

This part has been Obsolete from VW and ATE for many years now and is difficult to find these units in good working condition, these units are prone to seizing due to water ingress and corrosion.

This Listing is for the valve unit only, however I do have stock of the springs if you require these also (+£15); please message me before ordering.
