In the mid 1960’s on Cape Cod, Bill Sydenstricker developed a new craft inspired by the extensive research he had conducted while at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on early Egyptian art.
His efforts resulted in new and exciting glass designs produced by a method similar to the ancient art of enameling.
Although
Bill Sydenstricker is no longer with us, his artistic creations continue to be
made at Sydenstricker Glass in the same unique way for the last fifty years.
Artists and collectors have been fascinated by our work. Pieces are on exhibit in many major galleries and museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Toronto Museum of Art, the Tiffany Museum in Winter Park, Florida, and the Chrysler Museum. Several American Embassies provide dessert services of Sydenstricker Glass.

with only light cleaning/dusting if not otherwise stated. Further cleaning may

POSTAGE is expensive, it's even more when you do
it the right way. Your item will be carefully wrapped for safe delivery. I
recycle, reuse and/or buy used packing materials to keep down costs. I buy a
good grade of packing tape to help keep your package secure. BUYER agrees to
pay Postal charges when applicable.
We package and ship
promptly within one day of receipt of payment. We always ensure items - even
large parcels - are securely wrapped in bubble wrap with packing peanuts to
ensure added safety.
