Vtg 80s Studibaker Hawk Black Column Gown Pearl Shoulder Straps 12/14.

This gown is one of the more demure dresses from this iconic Australian designer trio.

It has many familiar hallmarks.

For one thing, the cut is to die for.

The stretchy Lycra panels at either side of the zipper on the back ensure the classic body con fit also ensuring structure and support.

The thigh length split says it all.

But the shoulder straps . . . . Conventional self fabric thin shoulder straps are accompanied with two strands of pearls on either side of each shoulder strap. An attractive and eye catching feature that together with the fabric bow at the centre of the front of bodice make this a bombshell formal Ballgown suited to many occasions.

The bodice is of course boned at the front and side seams

Fabric is a sturdy weight polyester.
