An iconic illustration of the perils of mountain travel that was reproduced in painting and sculpture. A lithograph after British artist TC Wilson depicting a sentimentalized version with the boy wearing a feathered hat and neck ruff was published in the second half of the 1830s. On underside is engraved presentation dated 1877.
