This wonderfully detailed cast bronze figure of a confident, well-to-do young boy in winter togs measures 9 1/2" tall on its stepped 1" x 2 1/2" x 4 1/4" base and is signed on the back M. Lindenberg.  Max Lindenberg (1873-1910) was born in Riga, Latvia and had a long career creating stylish finely detailed smaller bronzes: depictions of children were among his favorites.  This work dates to the first decade of the 20th century and is in excellent condition with rich warm brown patina and insignificant nicks to the marble.
