A set of two ceramic figurines in the Dolly Dingle series from the House of Global Art, Taiwan. This includes a girl in a rocking chair holding a teddy bear (in PJs), it is called "Sleep in Heavenly Peace" #725221, and a boy in a rocking chair playing a drum, it is called "Make a Joyful Noise" #725223. Both are from 1988 and are based on some popular 1920s paper dolls. They still have their paper label and also the printed inscription. They are Christmas themed with holly on the sides of the chairs. They are 3 " x 3.5" x 1.5"
Many of the imported ceramics from that era are shoddily made, these are not, they have a good mold and are painted very well, especially the faces. Please check out all the photos, I want the new owner to be happy. Coming from Oregon, they will probably cost a little more to ship.
Check
out my other fun stuff, I will combine shipping costs if
you buy more than one item, ask for an invoice then just wait for the invoice before you pay, if
you pay before I combine shipping I can't give you the discount. Payment
is due within 3 days of closing. I don't charge for
handling, just the shipping cost, I have no control over the shipping
cost. I enter the actual weight of the package and E Bay calculates how
much it will cost to go from my zip code (Oregon) to yours. If it seems
excessive, it is just due to where you live and the weight of the
package. I will offer a second shipping option if it might be cheaper.
My goal is to get items to you undamaged, but I have received many items
broken, the post office is not very careful I've discovered. If
something arrives and the box looks like it's been mishandled, please
take a photo, then if there is damage get a photo of the damage and send
these to me so I can start a claim. You will receive your refund but
you will need to hold on to the item and the packaging until it is
settled. As
always I want you satisfied and accept returns. Thanks for looking.
