Offered here is a Vintage Retro Mid 20th Century Amber Cube Glass Ceiling Light Shade or Lightshade.
This dates to the late 1960s or Early 1970s .
This is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks . It is a stunning design .
We believe it is either Scandinavian or British Art Glass, it is very similar to Sartington pieces by Frank Thrower and to some Whitefriars pieces but we believe it is probably from Denmark , Sweden or Finland .
It has the Original metal fittings and has an earth wire in the wiring .
The design is very typically Mid Century , it is a decorative and useable piece .
The entire drop from the ceiling fitting to the bottom of the glass is 13.5 inches .
All 4 sides have this fabulous geometric design and there is a large knop in the bottom . We believe these are sometimes known as Bullseye Glass .
A fabulous piece .
