Antique Brass Card Tray Ashtray BRC Monogram African Railway Company Rail c1920 

 This is either a calling card tray or an ashtray. 

It is said to be a piece of African Railway Memorabilia but I am afraid I dont know anything more. This is a brass tray , that has a wavy design that is usually referred to as engine turning , or engine turned. In the middle of the piece there is a monogram of the company which reads BRC , I am afraid I dont know the name of the company. 

 This is in superb condition with no faults at all , and this measures 4 inches across its diameter.

 I believe this may have sat inside a wooden surround at some stage .
