This has no chips or restoration , it has a hairline crack which is visible from underneath .
This is an unusual pattern , it has the Imari colours of red , white and cobalt blue with gilding within the design . The floral decoration is red .
It has the impressed mark on the reverse , an early mark and Rd No 161759 . This dates it to 1890.
It measures a little over 11 inches x just over 9 inches across its diameter . This has a raised moulded or scalloped edge .
The Gilding is in nice condition .
It is well marked and is a lovely piece for lovers of early antique porcelain.
