After renowned artist Henry Alken, these hunting prints depict the first steeplechase on record, held near Ipswich, Suffolk. Each was published in 1839 by Ben Brooks, and at the time a set such as this would have cost in the region of £50. They are in attic found, country house condition as per the pictures..

Each framed work measures 55 cm (21 1/2 in) wide by 47 cm (18 1/2 in) tall. Please contact us with any questions before bidding or buying.
