This lamp is the perfect addition for a nursery or child's room. It's story time in the enchanted forest and the birds have landed on the ancient old tree as he reads "The Happy Forest" book to them. This precious lamp is a unique, one-of-a-kind hand-crafted lamp. I sculpted the face out of polymer clay (not by mold). The tree is sculpted out of my special Paper Mache' technique, which gives it the look and feel of real tree bark. I hand painted the tree with multiple shades of browns, to give it a very realistic look. It sits on a wooden base.

The lamp shade is covered in green silk leaves which casts a beautiful warm glow. The feather birds are perched on the branches, one on the book, anxious to hear the story. I made the book out of felt with "The Happy Forest" book picture on front cover.
