This rarely grown small broadleaf deciduous tree to about 25 FT wide and 30 FT tall and is from the Himalayan region.
The branches are often pendulous and the leaves are particularly attractive being doubly toothed with very prominent veining and emerge in coppery red tones.
To grow well, it prefers sun - mostly shade and regular water. Adaptable to various soil conditions. Grows best in well-drained, rich and average soil.
